Don and Chef Marcus Samuelsson Discuss Audible Original Launch and Nourishing the Community

Don hosted noted Chef Marcus Samuelsson for a discussion at the Montclair Film Festival. The event coincided with the launch of Samuelsson’s eight-part Audible Original “Seat at the Table,” exploring the stories behind eight seminal locations in American restaurant history.

The two discussed their partnership through Newark Working Kitchens, Audible’s COVID-19 food relief program launched in April 2020 to provide meals in the Newark community while also keeping staff employed at local restaurants. They also talked about larger issues around social justice, their stories as entrepreneurs and innovators in their respective fields, and Samuelsson’s past releases with Audible.

You can watch the entire event in the video shared above.
